Institutional Impact Investing

In cooperation with the Forum Nachhaltige Geldanlagen (FNG)

Institutional investors and asset managers are playing an increasingly important role in the development of impact investing. Insurance companies, banks, pension funds, and private equity firms are integrating impact-oriented investment strategies into their portfolios and investment processes.

At the same time, institutional impact investing raises specific challenges — ranging from regulation and fiduciary duties to impact measurement, scalability, and reporting requirements.

The joint Working Group on Institutional Impact Investing of the Bundesverband Impact Investing (BVII) and the Forum Nachhaltige Geldanlagen (FNG) creates a platform for exchange, collaboration, and the development of practical solutions for institutional investors and asset managers.

Together, BVII and FNG aim to strengthen the role of impact investing within institutional capital markets and contribute to the further development of credible and scalable impact-oriented investment approaches.
