Your contribution counts

Impact investing requires more than capital alone. It requires strong networks, independent institutions, and reliable structures that create orientation, enable collaboration, and support long-term market development. This is where the Bundesverband Impact Investing (BVII) contributes.

As a non-profit association, BVII brings together actors from capital markets, policy, the real economy, academia, and civil society to strengthen impact-oriented investing in Germany and Europe. The goal is to mobilise capital more effectively for solutions to the social, environmental, and economic challenges of our time.

BVII creates spaces for dialogue and collaboration, develops standards and professional positions, contributes to regulatory discussions, and strengthens the visibility of impact investing in markets and policy. Through working groups, regional chapters, publications, events, and international cooperation, BVII supports the development of a connected and practice-oriented impact ecosystem.

Every contribution helps to strengthen this work and further develop impact investing as a credible and scalable approach for sustainable transformation. Your donation supports independent association work, knowledge building, strategic dialogue, market development, and the advancement of shared standards and practical expertise.

As a non-profit platform, BVII uses donations transparently, independently, and purposefully to strengthen Germany and Europe as a leading location for impact investing and sustainable finance.

From initiative to association

The Bundesverband Impact Investing (BVII) was founded in 2019 as the Federal Initiative for Impact Investing and has been organised as a federal association since 2025. The association emerged from the shared conviction that capital plays a central role in addressing social, environmental, and economic challenges.

Since its founding, BVII has worked to strengthen the visibility, professionalism, and connectivity of impact investing in Germany and Europe. Today, BVII serves as a platform connecting capital markets, policy, the real economy, and academia to advance impact-oriented investing and sustainable transformation.
