FAQ
How can I support BVII?
Donations to the Bundesverband Impact Investing (BVII) can be made via bank transfer. For unrestricted donations, please indicate the reference: “Donation BVII”. If you are considering a restricted contribution, strategic partnership, or larger support, the BVII management office welcomes direct contact at post@bvii.org. Donations can be made by both private individuals and companies. As a non-profit association, BVII uses contributions transparently and purposefully to strengthen impact investing and sustainable finance in Germany and Europe.
When will I receive the donation receipt?
Donation receipts are generally issued in the following calendar year after the annual financial statements of the Bundesverband Impact Investing (BVII) have been prepared.
What does BVII's non-profit status mean for my donation?
The Bundesverband Impact Investing (BVII) is recognised as a non-profit association. Donations can therefore generally be claimed for tax purposes within the framework of applicable tax regulations. Both companies and private individuals can support BVII through unrestricted donations or contributions dedicated to specific projects and initiatives. Corresponding donation receipts are issued accordingly. Please note that the retroactive allocation of donations to a previous financial year is generally not possible.
Can I support specific topics or projects?
Yes. In addition to unrestricted donations, contributions to the Bundesverband Impact Investing (BVII) can also be earmarked for specific projects, thematic areas, publications, events, or strategic initiatives. BVII uses all funds transparently and in accordance with its non-profit mission. The allocation and use of contributions remain traceable within the framework of the association’s non-profit activities and impact-oriented work.
Will my name be made public as a donor?
Both options are possible. Whether and how a donor is publicly acknowledged is coordinated individually with the BVII management office and always based on the donor’s preference.

The transformation of economies and capital markets requires more than isolated projects. It requires shared market structures, collaboration across sectors, and spaces where finance, policy, the real economy, and civil society can shape the future together. This is where BVII contributes.
As an independent non-profit platform, BVII strengthens the framework for impact-oriented investing in Germany and Europe through dialogue, market development, knowledge building, and strategic cooperation. Through working groups, regional chapters, publications, events, and international partnerships, BVII helps make impact investing more visible, professional, and scalable.
Your contribution supports independent association work, practical knowledge transfer, strategic dialogue, and the further development of impact investing as a driver of sustainable transformation.
