Topic: Impact needs foundations: How impact investors can support Viva con Agua’s work in the long term through Villa Viva

Benjamin “Benji” Adrion is the initiator of Viva con Agua and Villa Viva and a former professional footballer at FC St. Pauli. From an initial water-project idea in Cuba, Viva con Agua grew into an international movement that mobilises people through music, art, sport, community and social business for “water for all – all for water”. With Viva con Agua mineral water as a “liquid flyer” and later Villa Viva, Benji shows how brands, places and business models can become platforms for social impact. Villa Viva translates this attitude into hospitality: as “A Place of Togetherness” and a social guesthouse in Hamburg, Berlin and Cape Town that supports Viva con Agua’s projects.
