Expert Workshop: Seizing Opportunities, Understanding Limits – Gender-Lens Investing for Global Sustainable Development

The expert workshop explores the potential and the limits of Gender-Lens-Investing (GLI) for global sustainable development. The focus is on the opportunities of GLI in countries of the Global South and on how investments can contribute to gender equality and the achievement of SDG 5.

This interactive exchange format is aimed at experts in gender equality, development cooperation and finance and offers space for discussion, networking and the identification of concrete scope for action and synergies.

The workshop is part of a project by the Fair Finance Institute and is funded among others by Engagement Global with resources from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). Dr Hanne Roggemann, head of the BVII working group Frontier and Emerging Markets (WG FEM), is also involved.
